Wind Noise in Cab
On my 2024 STX 4X4 Crew Cab, I have a lot of wind noise. I have had the door adjusted by the dealer that fixed a rattle; however I still have a lot of wind noise. Is this normal for the F150's now? Hell, the Jeep Gladiator that I traded in to get this F150 was quieter than this STX. Am I alone here or are others noticing that the newer F150s are kinda noisy in the cab? Thanks in advance for your replies! Phil in Tennessee!
My 2024 is fairly quite without a lot of unusual wind noise. I do notice some outside road noise from the front wind shield area when a car passes in front of me at a stop sign. Maybe through the vents? Even though I seem to notice it, it's not a bother. My previous Infiniti FX35 had A LOT of outside road noise coming from the windshield area.
The other day I noticed for the first time a slight fluttering noise coming from the rear of the trucks driver door area with the moon roof glass is cracked at the rear and at freeway speed. It's not loud, just enough to get my attention. It went away when I cracked the rear sliding window. I guess the moon roof glass, when cracked, generates enough vaccume in the cab to cause the thin polymer door seal to flutter a little? Could be the plastic sheet door barrier/liner that manufactures typically have inside the doors to prevent water from contacting interior panels.

I have a 2024 XLT, but I can’t imagine the doors or windows being any different - on certain roads I can hear some noise from my tires, but as far as wind, I don’t notice anything. It’s a relatively quiet pick up in my opinion. I have read on another thread where other people are experiencing wind noise, and having a difficult time getting it remedied- do a search I’m sure you’ll find more information.
