Default Why is dash illuminated?

The truck is off and sitting in the driveway, as it has been for hours I've locked it via the door button and via the remote. However, the dash is still very dimly illuminated but without any images or ext, just a blank lightly glowing screen. Why is it doing that? I'm hoping the battery isn't kaput in the morning, hahaha.

1/19/23 *Update* I've tried suggestions in this thread. Locking the truck by door button and by remote. Tried opening / closing driver's side door (Kidastra's suggestion). Even tried getting into truck, turning it on, letting it idle a few moments, then turning it off. Nope, still have a blank dash glow.

1/20/23 *Newest Update* Battery was not dead this morning. The dash is not glowing tonight. I will snap and post a photo next time I catch it doing this. Hopefully it was a 1x glitch.

Snap a picture of this if you can, I’m curious. That would drive me crazy.

Could be receiving an OTA software update. Also, the truck typically takes 15-30 minutes to go "dormant" - the rear accent lights do the same thing in my truck.

Maybe an update, how do I find out what my current version is and when most recently updated? It didn't go dormant, it was still on in the morning, 10 hours after I first noticed it and tried to get it stopped. Good thought though, thanks.

Somewhere in the General settings it'll show "about sync".

Post or DM me your VIN and I can check to see if OTA activity is it currently going on

Edit: I can also check and see if any codes are present (provided your vehicle is linked to your Fordpass )
