Just curious if any of you have seen one of the Space White trucks in person. I've been playing with the Build and Price it on the website...and I think I like the Space White color. Is it a type of Pearl White? When you switch between Space White and Oxford White....Oxford looks much lighter white.

 

I wouldn’t say it’s pearl white at all. Not my kind of white really but hey we all like what we like.

 

Space White is like a grayish white, looks really cool in person. IMO.

 

Thanks Seed. Not sure I'd like it either. Will have to really see one in person I suppose. I do like pearl white...but this space white looks like a washed out light blue in the video. Hmmmm.

Second video covers colors more accurately from what Ive seen..
But definitely go see them both for yourself. No other way to tell. Color in the configurator is ridiculously off.
Best to see in a couple different light conditions I saw them next to Oxford white in direct sun, in shade, overcast, etc etc
I ordered Space White.

 

very wise words. I wish I had with magma red and marsala interior, and now have doubts with smoked quartz. I’m going to venture out and look before I decide this time. Why can’t they just take pictures of the truck and not put up synthetic or over manipulated pictures. It’s like fast food pictures.

heck maybe I will like the lariat sport brown interior panels even.

 

It does look blue to me in certain lights also. It is an interesting color for sure, a grayish white.

Have you looked at star white? To me star white is the pearl white (used to be white platinum) that you may be looking e. Or isn't it available on the truck and trim you are looking at?

 

I haven't looked at star white....but it looks like they are not offering that color in the XLT...which seems like a negative thing for Ford to do. I would probably really consider smoked quartz but you have to move up to a Lariat to get those colors...plus, you can't choose some of the colors including star white if you want the Sport Appearance Package....which is another thing that just floors me. What is it with the "have to get this to get this color stuff"?

 

Space white looks cool, definitely has a blueish hue. If you like true whites or traditional colors go with the Oxford white. If you like new colors and something different go with the space white. Looks great with the sport package and either rim set up.
