Default Where is the door?

My new 2023 STX was delivered today. Got the Ford Pass up and operating.Changed the code on the key pad. And noticed that there is no door on the cubby above the glove box. Can it be added?

Do you have the button that opens it?

What do you mean there’s no door? Even if you couldn’t find the button there’s very obviously a door there that you can see and feel and probably move some

I believe lower trims don't come with the door.

That's the way they come in the XL trim.

Get used to it. Would. Be a massive job to disassemble the dash into its individual bits and retro fit it.

It is an open package shelf I believe. I am guessing the basic dash frames are all the same so maybe a door could be fitted, the release button may be tricky though from the outside.

I heard they got rid of the door on the 22s. Do you happen to have the overhead console where you can store your sunglasses?
