Default Wheels on 21+

Can anyone confirm/deny that previous model year wheels still fit the 21+ trucks? I have a set off my 2014 that have snow tires on them. If/When the 2022 F350 arrives and I do decided to trade up/sell my 2018, I wont be needing the wheels anymore. Will help to know when listing as to what years they fit.

I'm not an expert on this, but I believe the oem wheels are interchangeable for years 2015-2022, maybe more. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in. I had been looking for different wheels for my truck because I really didn't like the optional (only 1 choice) wheel that Ford offered for my truck when ordered, and I was looking at wheels as far back as 2018. Ended up picking up a set from 2021. I didn't want to deal with spacers and such so didn't go aftermarket.

Just be aware any F150 equipped with Max Tow or HDPP will not fit 17" rims on the rear axle. The brake rotor is a larger diameter on these models, and the smallest rim that reliably fits is 18".

I do know the wheels from 2014 fit 2018 as I put 38,000 miles on them on my current truck. If wheels from 2018 fit a 22, then the ones from a 14 should also fit. Thats what I am looking to confirm.

I use 2013 20"fx4 rims as my winter. All rims the same from 2009 and up.and yes a 17" rim will not fit over the max tow rear brake calipers.

2004 to 2021 interchange in terms of bolt pattern, just make sure you use the right lug nuts for the truck's lugs, '04 to '14 trucks use a different thread pitch than '15 to '21 trucks do.

My buddy's 2021 Lariat Sport wheels fit my old 2017 STX just fine. We just swapped out the TPMS sensors and all was good.

So Ford changed TPMS between 2015-20 and 21 models? I know 09-14 wont work on 15+, did they change them again?

My aftermarket wheels/tires/sensors from my 2018 fit on my 21 with no issues and the sensors were picked right up by the new truck.
