What piece is this?

Any idea where this goes? I’ve looked all around and nothing seems to be missing a cover. For context it was sitting in the little well where the shifter goes when you push the fold button.

My truck had the exact same piece and I searched the truck but could not find anywhere that it went.

Not sure but I remember a piece like that below the seats that cover the assembly attaching the front part of the front seat to the floor.

Yep. Looks like bolt cover for bolts holding the seat to the cab.

It is the cover for the front seats' rear mounting hardware on the floor.

That’s exactly what it is!! Thanks, this was driving me insane lol. I did check all 4 of the spots and they all have covers so I guess the assemblers in Michigan just decided I needed an extra one.
