What exactly is missing with feature removal
I have a truck that was caught in the feature removal window and I know being these trucks now are modular where you can pretty much do anything what exactly is missing for the NAV/Sirius removal? Is it the unit itself missing a board or is it just missing external things like the ant?
I mean I can buy a sync4 12” upgrade with the features to install but wasn’t sure if there was more to it.

The 12" display won't be removed for navigation/siriusxm.. not sure which internal modules/components are being removed or it it's just software. The build for these trucks probably won't happen for a few months still so it'll be hard to figure out exactly what's being cut. However, the major thing (for me at least) removed though that ford/dealers weren't being explicit is that they also removed CoPilot Assist/Active 2.0.
I'd also be extremely interested to know if it's possible to activate these features at a later date (with forscan and buying missing parts).

IMO it'll be interesting to see if the schematics and system description text in the Ford Service Manuals will be updated to give any indication of the differences between vehicles with / without these 'forced removal option codes' as they do for other optional features. They did not as of a week ago when I scoured the infotainment sections in detail looking for that.

There is also a $365 credit on the window sticker for active park assist 2.0 removal.

I have the window sticker for my Platinum, but not the truck yet, and it shows a $300 credit for the multi contour seat removal. So I assume that is the entire seats. I had ordered the truck with the fold flat seats and the Carmelo interior which Ford also eliminated earlier.

For the Assist, it has been added to trucks previously on the Gen14 board.
