Default What is this button?

Wife asked the other day and I didn’t have a good answer. Couldn’t find any info in the manual— which actually ignored it was there on page 31. I looked for threads also asking about it with no look. Gut feeling might be to reset the 120v if it got overloaded? But wanted to know for sure.

Did the factory leave something in there that shouldn't be? What is that thing?

It’s the breaker reset button for the 120v outlet. Are you driving a Powerboost?

Yeah as noted, it is the breaker for ProPower equipped vehicles since that is a 20A outlet, unlike non-ProPower trucks that have the 400 Watt and won't have a breaker.

I should have just asked you first. You’ve been a wealth of knowledge in here especially since you had a head start on us in Powerboost ownership. Thanks

You don’t get the reset button on the 2.4 kw PB. There is the usual 12 volt outlet instead of the breaker reset button when you have the 7.2 kw inverter. As far as I can tell, all of the 20 amp outlets are fused with 20 amp fuses. Unless my PB 2.4 kw is a unicorn.

It mutes the passenger so you can have a nice quiet stress free drive in your fantastic new truck.

Nope, you lied! I must have pushed it a hundred times on our last trip. 😉
