I found this under my hood during my pre delivery inspection. Anyone know what it is?

the ID number on that doesn't cross to a valid service part number, to me it looks like a wire harness plug protector that rather than get thrown out got left in the truck after assembly

Looks like a tool caddy/carrier for a gnome.

Its a connector cover. During assembly the wire harness' have a cap. They remove the cap and connect the harness. I had one in my truck too. Just toss it.
