Default Water in Engine Bay

Anyone else have a problem with the rubber cowling popping up? Literally I put it back, drive the truck and its back the same way. Rain is not be channeled properly and a little bit ends up in the engine bay.

One pic below of it popping up, the other is how it should look

2023 F150 Tremor

This is the rubber popping up.

This is how it SHOULD look.

The cowl shouldn't deform like that, but many people have the issue. You can ask a dealer to replace it, but good luck in it being done under warranty.

As for water in the engine bay, I have bad news for you, if it's raining, water is getting into the engine bay from all around the hood regardless of what the cowl looks like. If you're driving, it's coming in from the grill, wheel wells, and under the truck around the underbody shields too.

I have the same issue on my 2023 and the dealer did replace the pass side yet it still does it, and the drivers side does it as well just not as bad. It's sad how bad the fitment is on parts with these trucks.

Same on my 21. Flimsy rubber. I'm not going to worry about it. Between the heat of summer and cold of winter, you'll be chasing it.

Mine looks a lot worse than yours.
It drives me nuts. I was hoping the heat in the summer would relax it and flatten it out. N

o luck.

Thinking I might put a zip tie on the antenna to keep it from moving up and down - this is an awful design

The passenger side cowl moulding on my 2021, was warped at the windshield, dealer replaced it under warranty.

I have the same issue, not as bad as the photos. I am taking mine in for a oil change tomorrow and will ask the dealer about it then.

I noticed this after last washing my truck. No idea if just hose or what.

Did you ever address this again?
