State Farm had mine as a lightning when I got it. for sites like that I usually just use year/make/model when looking up parts and stuff

Most places will treat them all as the same. They don't really care about trim level as most of the parts are interchangable.

when i added my 23 to my insurance it comes up as xl, stx, xlt, lariat, tremor, platinum, raptor as in all trims.
when I asked why my agent just said thats how they do it now. I said a XL is cheaper to insure then a raptor so am I getting billed as a raptor on my XLT??? she had no answer.

So, a little different, I got rear ended a couple weeks ago and the damage was minimal - rear bumper, back up sensor, .. (luckily, no other damage than bumper). Quoted $1,700 ish for OEM replacement/install all covered by other person's insurance. The Body Shop ordered the parts using my VIN. Install day comes along and the bumper received was a 2 piece bumper, BUT my bumper is 1 piece. Easy issue/mistake, but the VIN says 2 piece and my truck has 1 piece. Call Ford and their answer was I must have replaced the bumper, has to be 2 piece because its a 24 and only 1 piece bumpers were used. Hell, the truck has 2,300 miles on it and I did not replace the bumper. They are struggling to get a resolution.

Wonder if its because I ordered it last September and its one of those trucks that started production Jan 18, 2024, but sat in limbo until the summer and I finally got it in June???

Just weird.

Easy answer,

Makes sense, just odd that Ford took such an aggresive stance on it being the owner replacing the bumper and not something on their end. I am sure it will get figured out, just want the truck back. Luckily I have a 3rd toy car to drive on sunny days (got my fingers crossed the weather stays nice here until I get it back).
