Default Upper Control Arms

Has anyone installed 15-20 Upper control arms yet. I am waiting for my Bilstein 6112 / 5160 and a set of BDS UCA's to come in. Are a set of BDS UCA going to beneficial? I have a 2021 STX with a crew max short bed 4x4. Has anyone even installed aftermarket UCA's yet or am I going to be the Guinea pig?

I am not sure this is true. Even at 2 inches of lift the ball joint will be just about maxed out. Granted if you never go offloading and you drive a pavement princess I might agree, thought I still think the ball joint will wear at a higher rate when compared to a stock ride hight truck.

Did you ever install the '15-'20 UCA's on your 2021? If so, how did it go?

I’m now looking for some actually. My 2 in spacer kit is scuffing coil on UCA on big speed bumps. Anything over 12 mph. Never ever heard of this issue with a 2in level kit but here I’m. I’ve seen some from 200-500.

Actually the Uca are more beneficial on the level then the lift, the lift maintains the factory geometry. The BDS are only designed for 2”-4” of lift. I have run the BDS on the last two trucks better clearance on the spring and hay, they look really cool!

You are correct, 2.0 kit set at 2.7”, fox 2.0 on the rear with an additional 1” block, the spring and valving is based on the V6 so the ride is a little softer than the Fox2.0. I believe Fox is addressing this for the 21-22 year, the 14-20 will bolt on but I think they are really stiff. Call Eibach directly if you are intersected, they have the complete kit, front, rear and blocks for $1,050.00, they do come with the wrench so you can adjust in place, hope that helps!
