Default Unknown leak

I just noticed that I have a pretty pronounced leak on the passenger side. My spring, shock, control arm, wheel well liner and all up under the passenger side including my running board is soaked with what appears to be oil or an oily substance. It's only on the passenger side. I checked the oil level and it's fine. I can't pinpoint where it's coming from. I have the 3.5L ecoboost motor and 19400 miles on it. Before I take it to the dealer does anybody have any ideas of what this might be?

Can you tell what color it is or what it smells like. Could also be atf or even antifreeze. Is it in the tread of that tire, perhaps something you drove through? check around right front area under hood and behind grill for same stain. There's a lot of plumbing in that area that could be leaking.

Ok. so I looked again and I think it's antifreeze. It doesn't have any smell though and no color. My control arms on that side are covered and so is my skid plate and frame on that side, I'll see if I can load some pics. Doesn't look like it's something a ran over though.

Has the level dropped in the coolant overflow tank?
Any other symptoms of overheating?

You can take a clean white paper towel and lightly wipe that area or try to soak up some of the pooled liquid.

The towel will show the color of the liqiud but be carefull not to pick up a lot of dirt so the color shows up.

That seems too oily to be coolant. Have you had a look at the turbo on that side to ensure you don’t have an oil supply line split or leaking.
