Turning Radius
Is the turning radius improved for the 6.5 Crew cab?
I always found it exceptionally wide on the 2015-20s compared to competitors.
Wondering if Ford improved on this.

2021 is 51.1 feet. https://media.ford.com/content/dam/f...ical-Specs.pdf No change from 2015 - 2020.
I believe that's an increase of 0.7 feet, i.e. 8.4 inches.

So that means a crew cab 8 bed F450 (176 wheelbase) has a smaller turning radius than the two longest F150s (157 and 163). The 2019 F450 is only 50.4 curb to curb.
Thats actually impressive on the part of the F450...

My friend claimed his Dads F250 turned sharper than his F150 157.
I thought Ford might have tightened it up a bit on the new gen. The length is workable but a tighter turn radius would help. The last I drove a GM it seemed tighter also.

The same document for 2020 doesn't have the radius. https://media.ford.com/content/dam/f...-TechSpecs.pdf
In pulling what I found yesterday for the 2015 - 2020, it appears the source said 2020 when in fact it was 2010... I found this source for 2020, which shows there was NOT a change. https://www.caranddriver.com/ford/f-150-2020/specs
For the F250, here's the specs, indication a bigger radius, not smaller. https://www.caranddriver.com/ford/super-duty/specs

My guess is the Super Duty's ride higher from the factory, and have more available cramp angle for steering. I used to drive an International utility truck, and I swear the front tires could angle nearly 80 degrees and that truck could almost turn around in its own length.
The F450 has a much wider front axle than the F250 and F350SRW/DRW, and it has the capability to turn even sharper than the F150/F250/F350.
In terms of turning radii, from shortest to longest:
F450
F150
F250/F350 4x4
F250/F350 4x2
This is also dependent on wheelbase. Obviously a 122 WB F150 will out-turn a 176 WB F450. But the 176 WB F450 seems to beat out every other truck 157 or longer.
The absolute worst turning radius is in the F250/F350 SRW/DRW 4x2 176 wheelbase.
