Default transmission gears

Hello all,

My buddy has a 2025 F150 Tremor with the 5.0. He is looking for a way to always show what gear he is in especially when he is towing. He found a way to do it although after a few seconds it times out and disappears. Is there anyway that he can have it to always show up on his dash?

On my 21 f150 I don't have a digital dash or anything, but it does always show me what gear I'm in.

This was figured out.

Yes since he found out he could do it for a short time

Actually I'm going to ask him. Just looking at the manual it shows it is at the bottom of the screen.

Shows it automatically in Tow Haul mode. A whole different screen comes up. At least on my 24 Tremor it does.

My 2023 always show what gear she’s in. If I remember correctly I set it up that way a day or 2 after buying the truck. After tranny issues in my last 2 Chevys I’ve made it a habit to keep eyes on the dash gear indicator, and observe all shifts.
