Default Tow mirrors?

Hello gentlemen

I have searched but can't really find anything on this. I just ordered a truck, xlt 4x4 screw and got the tow mirrors. To be honest I don't tow much but have always liked the tow mirrors look on the super duty. They actually had a 150 with the tows on them and I really wasn't sure if I liked them or not, but I didn't care for that particular truck, now I'm wondering if they might be too big for an f150. Has anyone else got tows on their 150 mainly for looks and regretted it? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too big unless of course you regularly use them. Kind of makes them look like that dumb kid with the big ears everyone poked fun of in grade school...
INDISPENSIBLE if you tow, but otherwise...meh.

Haha, that is what I'm starting to think myself, still plenty of time to change, thanks for the input!

I'm getting mine with the Tow Mirrors because the regular mirrors are dinky. I like to see everything. I have the same mirrors on my SD and LOVE them. I test drove an F150 with the tow mirrors and loved it. Felt like I was still driving my SD. They don't look too big for the F150 since the cab is the same as the SD. at least it used to be...

Thanks for the reply See. Found another forum where they like the tow mirrors, even occasional towers, might have to flip a coin!

I will not own a truck without them. Of course they are awesome for towing but IMO they are just as good for ever day driving. The huge convex mirror almost completely eliminates blind spots down the side of the truck and I love the extra visibility from them. Honestly I could care less how they look, they are we worth that much to me

I ordered the tow mirrors on my Lariat. I sometimes tow a 5x8 box trailer...but I too think the stock mirrors are way too small...especially on the '21. So I'm glad I ordered the tow mirrors.

Default Tow Mirrors

I had a hard time finding a truck in stock with them. I drove 70 miles to get my truck and the tow mirrors were a big part of my decision making. I love mine and wouldn't want the standard ones now.

I think they look great and considering upgrading to them. Don't tow, but many a few times a year a small equipment trailer so don't need it. All personal taste, I like it!
