Tow mirror confirmation...not looking good. So i have a set of 2020 mirrors i tried to install on my 21 stx, though the base looks identical the bolt patter was shifted. So it would not bolt up. On the positve side, the 21 stx has the 22 pin already in there unlike the prior gen where it was the small one in the stx and lower trims. Anyway, cant find 21 tow mirrors though i seen them on some 21 stx models on the dealer lots. Cant get any dealer to give up a part number and all the can confirm is the indivual mirrors at 1400 dollars a piece that have all the bells and whistles in it...i just need tow mirrors with blinks, defrost, power mirrors and a passenger side temp sensor lol...
Ford does have part numbers for an accessory tow mirror replacement kit. There is ZERO availability on any of those kits though. The couple I have looked into are priced at $750ish for the pair of mirrors, pricing subject to change with options of course.

All the websites i been tonhave that exact number for three different models...with 3 different prices and dealers sayals its a ford mixup on those numbers cause it pulls the prior gen mirrors up still.

That 17696 part number is only part of the equation. It still needs a prefix and a suffix depending on vehicle model and part revisions. Below is a list for the 2021's ML3Z is the prefix for 21 F150's.
awesome, thank you sir...Did not realize you work at ford lol. Is there anyway you give pricing? Im have an stx and just need the set that gives blinkers, defrost, power mirror (not power scope) and the passenger side temp sensor unless all 21's require that sensor now. I know stock will be awhile but at least I can have an actual part number to give to my local ford dealers that dont out in the work that you just did lol...and a price estimate would be nice too, and I have like 300 bucks already in ford points.
OK, so its hard to know exactly which set of mirrors anyone would need without running the VIN to narrow things down. Hopefully you guys can pick out your options based on the list and get at least an idea.
They are all similarly priced except for the last set, which I believe is the set that comes with the cameras in them, which drives up the cost significantly. Hope this helps guys, this is Ford MSRP for a PAIR of tow mirrors.
