Tire help/question
I have a 21 xlt with a leveling kit. I currently have 275 65 18 on. Since I need new tires I'm looking to go bigger. I'm keeping the same rims. My buddy says that 285 70 18 will fit with no issues because of the level kit. Anyone else have experience if I can put these on with no problems?

Standard size diameter is 33". You're new tire diameter is 33.7". should not be an issue with a leveling kit.
New tire would be 10mm wider, with 5mm being on the inside of the tire. I would think you would be fine.
Can always ask the tire shop to put one on and check it out at full lock/turn to see if it rubs.
I'd put 20 bucks on it saying no issue.
I currently have stock tires on the stock 20" rim (BAP +). I plan to put on a leveling kit and run 275/65r20. Same width, but 34.0" diameter. I'm not worried about rubbing.
