Default Thoughts on two different Builds?

Common:
3.5L PowerBoost
4x4 SCrew 5.5'
Carbon Gray w/ Black Interior
Tailgate Step
360 Cameras
CoPilot360 Assist 2.0

Towing Options:
A) Tow Tech Package
B) Trailer Tow Package & 360 Camera ($1,000 more, only gain solid stabilizer bar)
Note: Lariat + Tow Tech Packages come with everything the Trailer Tow comes with, except for the Solid Stabilizer Bar. Don't know if I will tow more than 7,000lbs, though I could always add Stabilizer bar when I buy it or at a later date.

Trim Level Options:

A) 500A
--B&O Sound System (Mainly, I want a HD channel broadcast here)
--CoPilot360 Assist 2.0
--Console
--AMP Steps (Cost about $300 more, than Ford's to buy aftermarket)
Note: Pretty basic Lariat
Price: 60310/56478.40 MSRP/Invoice (added in AMP boards to this, assuming Tow Tech Package)

B) 502A
-Heated Steering Wheel (Always wanted one, live in Western NY, so it gets cold)
-Projector Dynamic LEDs and Rear LEDs (I think these would be a little better than the normal reflector LEDs.
-Rain Sensing Whipers (I do like these on my current vehicle, wife hates them)
fs-Heated Back Seats. (Not really Important, though I do have a young kid)
--Power Deployable Running Boards (People seem to like these a lot and they seem to drop lower than fixed)
--CoPilot 360 Active 2.0 (Doing this mainly to get front sensors and who knows I might like auto pilot)
--Lariat Sport Package. (I don't like the PVD Chrome wheels at all).
Price: 65485/61097.40

Difference: ~$4,619ish after rebates & taxes

Note: I plan to keep my vehicle for 10-15 years. I never had a new vehicle and I have been wanting a F-150, since 2016. Plan to put half down and finance rest for 60 months.

As long as you plan to keep it, buy the most truck you can afford. Enjoy.

Affording it isn't a problem, my current ride is a 2005 Acura MDX and my wife wants me to get a new vehicle. Last March I took a new position and I told myself if I got the job, I would finally buy a truck. I have always liked getting a good value on something, though used trucks are expensive/hold their value and the 2021 have a lot of new features. Though when it comes to spending money on a vehicle that happens to also be a toy, means I will have less of a budget to buy other toys, like a bigger boat. My wife knows I am getting new and she knows the trucks are expensive, though she doesn't know how expensive this one is LOL.

Do you not like the style of the PVD wheels? I like chrome PVD wheels, but am not digging the style they are using in 2021.

I just heard not so great things about them peeling. Shinny things show scratches easier. Also I really like the look of the painted pockets.

Check and see how much more the Max tow package is as well. It should automatically change the wheels to the ones you want as well as add a few other items. The max tow package is actually a really good value in a lot of cases

Thanks, I really like the double checking and suggestions.

For the max tow, I would normally agree with this, though for the power boost motor, you already get the 3.73 e-locker and you are limited to a 30gal tank that can't be upgraded to the 36gal. When I was looking at Ecoboost this was on my list. Though they raised the price from $645 on the 23rd and there is a delay for vehicles equipped with maxtow. Lastly as powerboost has pretty low payload, I don't think I could ever take advantage of the added tow rating.

If you are keeping it that long, get the 502.
