Since my special order '21 Lariat 501 didn't come with a chrome tailpipe tip I thought about ordering an after market tip on amazon for $30...since Ford wants $90 for theirs. BUT...a 3" tailpipe tip on Amazon states that it's 3" I.D. (to slide over a 3" pipe) but I measured my factory exhaust pipe and it measures 3 1/8" O.D.
Has anyone installed one of these after market exhaust tips on their truck? It wouldn't surprise me if Ford makes their exhaust pipe 3 1/8" just so you have to buy their $90 chrome tip.

 

I have one on the exhaust I removed. I can see if I can get it off for you if you want.

Man I was kind of worried I mixed the boxes up when I was shipping, lol glad to hear I didn’t.
I was trying to figure out how I was gonna explain that.

edit: That sounds worse that it was, I was also shipping a motorcycle piece.
