Default Tailgate Seal

Anyone install a tailgate seal with a power tailgate?
I'm trying to decide which one to go with. The Rock Block type that covers the gap between the bed and tailgate, or the weather-stripping type that seal when the tail is closed.

I tried the TruxSeal Universal one, and completely removed it soon after. It was took thick in some places to allow the tailgate to close (so I trimmed those areas down), and in other areas it was too thin to actually seal, so dust from dirt roads still got into the bed without much difference from before the seal was on. There are reviews on here from others (and on Amazon) stating that if installed with 100% precision then it works, but based on my experience I have my doubts as to those reviews and also to the longevity.

I installed the Ford tailgate seal. Part number VFL3Z-99404A06-A. It doesn't interfere with the power tailgate operation, and in conjunction with my ArmorFlex tonneau cover, has kept my bed dry and dust free.

I installed one on my non powered tailgate. Not sure if that's helpful?

I installed a Ford OEM seal on my power tailgate. I had to remove the lower section on the right ( about 1 foot) where the motor is. It kept getting rubbed off.

Is the power tailgate everyone is talking about just the button on the dash and keyfob that drops the tailgate or is there a tailgate that actually closes and opens with a motor? I want to seal mine too and was considering the 3M weatherstriping from Home Depot.
