I have questions. When it comes to the tailgate it seems that it cannot be opened without the key in you pocket? It can be opened using the button on the dash whether I have the key or not. Does it take one or two pushes of the button on the tailgate to have it drop? Sometimes I press it once. It beeps but nothing happens? I press it again and it drops. Is it 1 or 2 taps to drop it? Am I having problems here?

 

So update on this. I replaced button and actuator and didn't fix. Finally was able to get into a dealer. It ended up being a damaged wire from what they said was a ****ty job when the previous owner had it and had the unintended tailgate recall done. Full Bumper to Bumper warranty didn't cover it though as they said it was workmanship caused. They told me to call the original dealership that performed the recall and see about getting them to reimburse me.
Anyone had any luck with something like that lol?
