Default Tail Light options

Over the weekend, a rock defied all natural laws flipping back and breaking my driver side tail light. There is a roughly 1"x1" hole on the edge of the light housing. The light no longer works at all which i find weird.
I just called the dealer to get a price on a new one and again defying all natural laws they came back with a price of over $1100 for a replacement. I am still in shock on that one. Long story short, what are some quality aftermarket tail lights that others have found? '22 Lariat

Don't buy aftermarket. People are always selling mint OEM ones. You can actually buy two for that price. Yes, these assemblies are not cheap.

Really the only aftermarket ones available are cheap Chinese ones, AlphaRex, and morimoto.

But I totally agree with the above post get mint oem ones. You can pick up the BAP ones for about $800-$1000.

I don't get how Ford can charge as much as they do for a $5 piece of plastic made in China... it's absolutely absurd and yes, defies all logic

This topic is interesting to find an $1100 tail light on a pickup.

Jeez. I know a retired insurance adjuster. If he wasn’t already retired, that is the kind of thing that would have put him into retirement.

It’s also why I carry a $500 deductible. Costs me an extra $10 a month.
