Sync/Ford Pass
The only setting that I noticed that changed was the setting to show the Trip 2 screen on the dash. The dash still showed Trip 1, but not Trip 2. I was able to play with the settings and make the Trip 2 screen visible again, and all the Trip 2 stats were still there. Radio presets were unaffected.

Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, like you said, and then everything was OK again.
Looked into this issue a bit more. Other suggestions that I see online:
- Pull out the 8/9 fuse from the Body Control Module Fuse Box, instead of disconnecting the battery. This is in the passenger's foot well, next to the passenger door.
- Firmly plug in all connections at the Telematics Control Unit (TCU), which is behind the rear set. You have to fold down the larger of the two rear seats, which is tricky.
May try one or both of these if the problem happens again.

This just happened to me as well, with a new truck (less than 500 miles). FordPass was a few hours out of date, and when I started driving, the navigation screen had a wierd "No Cloud" icon (like a cloud with a slash through it). Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, like you said, and then everything was OK again.
"No Cloud" icon in navigation screen
Another update: Had a long drive today, at some point I noticed that the "No Cloud" icon had disappeared. Checked FordPass on phone, it had updated. So issue resolved itself somehow.
Then while driving through a remote mountainous area, the "No Cloud" icon reappeared. This time I thought: "well, that actually could make sense, there probably isn't any cellular service in this area". Got out of the mountains and cellular connectivity was restored, as it should have been.
So for now, it seems to be working correctly.
