Had my Platinum for for a couple of weeks now a few things I've came across that don't seem to work right. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

1. Every once and a while the Nav switches from 3d view to 2d view when I switch screens to do something else. I can go to Nav settings and 3d is checked, go back to Nav screen and its back to 3d view.

2. Running boards always goes back to Auto mode. I select the OUT position. Which should stay down while the truck is parked and retracted once you reach 3 MPH. Worked great 1 time then defaults back to Auto mode. I do have approach detection off. I though at first it was causing it to return to Auto setting. I would prefer the stay down while parked.

3. Every time I start the truck the Instrument cluster display always defaults to a list of view option instead of staying on the last option I had selected. Such as My View and list of other enable view options. Maybe this is the way its suppose to work, IDK.

Any work arounds or hints of what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

 

#3 is really annoying.

Also if you customize the middle digital gauges to something like Turbo pressure, but it goes back to default once you restart the truck.

 

Bugs that I am sure will be worked out over time and fixed with updates. It is a brand new truck with a brand new network architecture. I'd be surprised if there weren't some kinks to work out.

 

I changed the Transmission gauge to the Turbo gauge and that has stuck for me. It's been a week or so and hasn't revert back.

yep, hope we don’t brick anyone’s truck when the first update rolls out in 8 months or so.

 

Anyone have there nav on the instrument cluster changing screens sporadically? I also have #3

 

I did this also, and mine has stayed on turbo gauge for the 8 weeks I've had my truck.
