Default Swollen Lug Nuts?

Are the swollen lug nuts still an issue with the 2023 F150's? I had a problem with them on my 2018 and bought some from gorilla, but hate to buy them now if I don't need them for my 2023.

If they start to turn blue, you definitely have a problem.

My 23 had the two piece lug nuts, I didn't wait to see if they would swell. Pull one off and look at the bevel near the threads you'll be able to see if they are 2 piece. If they are they will probably swell eventually. My 14 I found out in the garage they were swollen but I had tools to get them off, had I been along the highway I'd have been screwed. Up to you if you want to wait and see or be proactive, I spend alot of time away from home and wasn't taking a chance. Jim

My 18 had swollen lugs. Didn’t wait on my 25. Had dealer swap them out with Gorilla on the first oil change and tire rotation.

My 2025 had solid one-piece lug nuts from factory. I changed them out for a set of black ones in about a week or two after buying the truck.

My 2024 had them. Replaced them with MGards right away.
