Folks, I discovered that my bed divider is not a complete waste - turns out, the dealership installed the brackets not only at the front, but also at the very back (close to cabin). So I installed the bed divider there, and it allows me to keep some stuff secure there.
On top of it, I got HitchMate 4016 Cargo Stabilizer Bar with HitchMate 4017 Cargo StabiLoad Divider Bar + the bag.... It helps, but it is not ideal (quite far from the gate), and I really do not like that it keeps pushing truck bed sides apart
