Default Suspension Question

Quick question, do Fox/Bilstein/Eibach leveling shocks/struts (or any other type of lift/level) work on a 2WD or are they mechanically exclusive to 4WD trucks. I know they are advertised for 4WD F150's but since I'm new to trucks I'd like some insight.

Also, if anyone has any insight into whether a 2.5 inch leveling kit (puck style) will make a 2WD drive "nose-up" or will it look normal?

A 2.5 inch puck may make it sit a bit nose high. I went with Rough Country 2 inch leveling struts on my 21 2wd. Put the Rough Country rear shocks on also. Sits perfect to me. I'll try and get you a pic later

for a 2wd, 2" or 2.25" will give the best level. 2.5" is a bit much, especially for 4WD models

Only you can answer that question.
Measure from the center of the hub to the fender, should be something like 21" +/-. Do this for front and rear. What is the difference. If the difference is 3" and you install a 2.5" lift up front, you'll still be low in front by 1/2" from level.
Others have pretty much nailed it but instead of trusting us -you should measure your own vehicle to make sure it sits like others (they don't all sit the same). You will probably find a difference of approximately 1.5" - 2".

Looks nice! What struts did you use? Also, how did it change the ride quality from stock?

Definitely stiffer than OEM, but could also be combination of the struts and tires. They are the Rough Country leveling struts

What's the size on the tire? I'm curious to see if I can get a away with a 34 inch tire with a 2 inch level on a 2WD.

We recommend no more than a 33" tire on a 2WD with our HP10253 2" kit, so yes, 285/55-20 is a great choice at 32.3" tall.
