Default Stiff ride

Hi I'm coming from a 2015 Sport screw Lariat to a FX4 Screw lariat 2022.

The handling is so stiff compared to the 2015. Is this normal? Or is it due to the FX4 package?

If it is due to the FX4 package is there anything I can do to make the handling less stiff.

Another thing I feel on the 22 is the brakes have no feeling. Like the truck has a mind of its own in terms of braking. Press the brake pedal and sometimes it brakes the way it should and other times it brakes when it wants.

It feels like the truck wants you to drive a certain way and if you don't it punishes you.

Thanks for any input

edit
Both trucks are 5.0.

My 21 Platinum FX4 was very floaty before I lifted it so I don't think it is due to the FX4 package.

The FX4 package comes with off road tuned shocks which are indeed stiffer than stock and give a stiffer ride, but your brake issue sounds strange.

my 2022 with fx4 rides freaking great
brakes are very responsive. what is your tire pressure set at? that makes a world of difference on the ride
my pirellis are at 37 psi.

I'm unable to articulate the drive. When cornering it does feel floaty but on speed bumps and pot holes it feels stiff.

So when you lifted it got better?

I think the fx4 on my 2021 is a lot softer than my 2020 fx4. I’d like to stiffen up the front as well. I have Goodyears on mine and they’re set to 38 psi. The brake issue is a concern. There was recently a post of a guy who had a master cylinder fail. It was leaking fluid onto his rubber mats and dried as a white looking residue. Check your mat and fluid level to be certain you don’t have the same issue.

The ride on my 21 Lariat FX4 PB is actually softer than the 2018 Lariat FX4 EB.
Swapped out the garbage Pirelli's and the ride/braking/steering improved.

I like a stiffer ride so the factory FX4 suspension didn't do it for me so I went with the Eibach Pro kit and if stiffened it up quite a bit, I'm also running 35" E rated Nitto Ridge Grapplers. It feels the bumps quite a bit more but it doesn't float like the factory suspension and holds the corners like you wouldn't believe a lifted truck could do.

275/65/18 on the 2015 vs a 275/60/20 tire on the 2022 ?

20's ride firmer.
