Here’s a pic of the take-outs. These are from my SCrew 302a XLT with 12” screen and base 7 speaker system.
My installer stands corrected. I had the base Bose 8 speaker system, and all four of the door speakers were the same 6x9's in your pic. Were the round ones in the front?
I have a 302A with standard audio and my neighbor has a Lariat with the base B&O and I was horrified to see that his A Pillar trim had what I would consider better tweeter placement. Has anyone considered replacing their A pillar trim pieces for the better tweeter placement? I’m just starting to research my options for upgrading the stand audio. I’m really just looking for upgraded clarity with additional bass. As I primarily only listen to SiriusXM I don’t need to go over board but I want better from the base audio.

There’s plenty of room to position after market tweeters behind the a-pillar trim in our trucks. Based on install videos I’ve watched for the 13th gen, it seems like the tweeter mounting bracket was just a strap with two screws. The 14th gen has a 3-point triangular mount that allows you to adapt different tweeters much easier. For my install, I slipped a collar around the tweeter and it clipped into the factory mount easily.
This really was the part I was dreading most, but it turned out to be the easiest part of the install. With as easy as it is to pop that trim piece out, I’d encourage anyone nervous or curious to take a look for theirselves. Two screws in the handle a little tug and it’s out. I think they were 10mm.

Round ones were from the rear door. Mine was the base audio 7 speak system. B&O is likely a different animal.
OEM front door and pillar tweeter from 2017 XL base radio. RCSB so no rear speakers.
Morel 962 upgrade. 6x9 in silicone baffle and adapter. Tweeter mouted to pillar location using existing foam cushion and mount plus a plastic strap cut from a milk jug.
Installing sound deadening in doors. Then with Morel speaker in place.
Without an amp and connected to OEM speaker leads (tweeters use OEM inline crossover), these were a solid improvement in cab sound. Because it is a front only setup I did add a Kicker Key amp and FOR CK11 harness, connected in "bi-amp" or active crossover mode and used the built in programing setup. Added a Rockford Fosgate PS-8 under the passenger seat. Now incredibly better than stock! KM
