Default Spark Plugs

Ok perhaps a bit early however parts take a long time , so with that said and after a couple of cross country road trips iam thinking of replacement of the plugs at 20K , Dont want to use the Factory Copper made in China but would rather uses Ruthenium or Iridium . I see some that are made for the 2019 ecoboost 150s but nothing for the 20 or 21s yet.. Anyone have any Ideas?

Always had good luck with Bosch plugs in my previous F-150s, but have not looked for any for my 2021 yet.

Edit: Just did a quick search on Amazon and they have zero plugs to fit my truck currently (3.5 EB).

Factory plugs haven't been copper in years. All Motorcraft plugs I've changed in the past decade on my model year 2000+ cars have been iridium from the factory and are good for 100k miles.

Check Rock Auto. They have the part numbers for my 2021 2.7L. And they are iridium.

Hi pioneer
Ford says they are copper core , I dont know what the tip is made up of. But the ford Ecoboost says change out between 40 to 60K. I dont know if its because the powerboost is somehow harder on the plugs or perhaps the new start stop operation cuts the life of the plugs. The Ford part page mentions nothing of Iridium sadly nor does the price reflect that material

Just what has been said above & to add to that Motorcraft plugs are Iridium & unless they have changed suppliers recently they are made by NGK...
They will also have japan painted on the side of the plugs...At least the replacement plugs do !!
AS far as made in china goes I've heard there is a ton of look a like plugs being sold on e-bay & amazon etc. that are chinese knock-offs in Oem look like boxes so be careful where you buy !!

NGK, a Japanese company, makes plugs for Motorcraft. They have lines of both iridium and ruthenium plugs in stock and tuned cold heat ranges. Nice thin is they have not played part number roulette like MC. I have been using NGK 6510's for the last 2 changes. KM
