Found this open ended hose under the air intake. Is this normal?
2021 Powerboost

All fixed. Thanks for the help.

Please let me know what you find. Mine has been in the shop a couple of times, and really don’t want to have to go back and deal with it. Thank you.

Sometimes things need an open air vent line, and they run a hose up high enough to get above a potential water line someone might decide to drive through.

Or something is suppoised to be connected to that hose.

I just looked at my 2021 Powerboost and all the hoses in that area are connected.

Looking at that hose it has a spring clamp on it, so that would say it is not a vent hose but probably a hose that should be connected. IF that is the case it should be pretty easy to locate where it should be attached to as it looks like there isn't much play in the hose.

Do you have the same hose as the he's identified though?

Got under the truck today and the part of hose that connects to a part, connects to FL3E-9V456-AC.
That is a turbocharger intercooler adapter. Guessing the unconnected end needs to be attached somewhere. I still can’t find where.

I found where it supposed to connect. Directly under the air intake hose. Why no warning that it wasn’t connected? Any possible long term damage?
