Default Somebody point me to the best Ontario dealership

Trying to purchase a factory order X-Plan here in Canada has become the dumbest most frustrating experience I've ever had. I've factory ordered the exact same 2022 build 3 separate times, from different (separately owned) local dealerships and each time the dealership finds a way to tank the deal so they can sell it for retail. Ford Customer service sympathizes, verifies this is happening more and more, but is ultimately useless.

Order 1 - Dealership just straight up terminated my purchase agreement before delivery when Ford raised the MSRP in the spring. Said they had the right; which the omvic fine print does indeed allow.
Order 2 - Delivered wrong. Dealership GM (probably intentionally) ordered it missing my most important options, a full bed, tow mirrors, etc. Conveniently, options they initially told me make them harder to sell retail.
Order 3 - Came in as ordered with force deleted navigation/sirius. No big prob, went to take delivery a week later and found it had been driven by someone at the dealership all week, wracked up all sorts of miles on it and who also managed to scratch/stone chip the **** out of it. They immediately lied about it not knowing I'd seen it before the PDI the day they took it off the truck. When I complained, that GM literally told me to walk as he had a retail buyer for it.

So now I guess I'm ordering a '23 from somewhere else if I can find a dealership that will take money in exchange for goods and services... It's been a year long ball kick, now compounded by the fact the '23 is more money and Ford deleted my rapid red.

I'm not sure where in Ontario you're located but I've been dealing with Ken Knapp Ford in Essex, Ontario for quite a few years and never had an issue.

Speak with Chet at East Court in Scarborough. He's been good to deal with so far. Expecting to take delivery of my 22 Lariat PB week of October 17.

I have never had a problem with Courtesy Ford in London. I know they did the X Plan.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm closest to the London dealership, but willing to go to whomever takes an X-Plan and isn't greedy as F. A-plus to whichever dealer doesn't use a custom order to make deliveries into Toronto (or however they put the miles and obvious highway damage on it).

Followup question: Reorder immediately or wait for the market to tank?

For anyone who does go to EastCourt, just make sure that you're VERY diligent on the VPA before signing.

What is crazy is that the auto market will eventually take a hard turn and these clowns will have backed themselves into their own fate....

I would agree, they have openly built up enough ill will that when the math turns on them having a Ford dealership every 5km in a city isn't going to work out. Ford corporate is itching to move to a direct sales model anyway.

Having said that, the Ford customer base is generally loyal to a fault so who knows. Ford charges whatever it likes, as do dealerships, and folks line up to hand them money.
