@ericjean Is the auto updates button grayed out where you can't do anything, or does it allow you to turn auto updates on but then goes back to off on its own?

 

@rugedraw the latter, it is not grayed out. Do you think charging my battery to 80%+ might help? If not, and if your contact has no additional ideas, I'll plan on scheduling with the dealer in the coming weeks. Thank for your input!

 

I would think auto updates is turningits self off due to your batteries low state of charge. Just my thoughts

 

No, the battery is not the reason. You can set the appt. That's not normal behavior. Just not sure if they will be able to fix it.

 

@ericjean Did you import your truck to the US from Canada or is it still in Canada?

 

it is imported, yes.

 

Not to hijack this thread, but like the OP, I've also imported my truck from Canada so I'm curious if there are issues with that? I haven't had an update for a few months, even after replacing the battery.

 

Is your connectivity working? Can you add the truck to the Ford app and everything works? If so, do not worry about it.
