The GWM, APIM, TCU and IPC are updated with a USB even with FDRS. I guess you never made it that far, but FDRS will eventually ask you to insert a USB formatted to exFAT to where it will download the files needed to update the GWM. The other option is to update via CAN or using the cable, but again, I don't think you are getting far enough along the process to get to where you have that option.

Are you using a Mongoose cable or something else?
