Damn that sucks lol. Have them on my 2018 and definitely use them when backing into my driveway. Guess it doesn't matter anymore with 360 cameras though. Another question I'm sure you could answer is, when your driving and put your direction on, does that sides mirror camera show up on the screen?

Side mirror cameras are only active when the 360 view is on, and it is speed sensitive. Not exactly sure of the number, but I think about 5mph.

I have those mirrors with the small spots on my 2018 XLT that came with the trailer back up assist control ****.

I am getting used to them, they work great for checking blind spots and lane changes, At night I still get a bit confused because a set of headlights behind me looks like two sets of headlights at different distances.

Had those exact mirrors on a 2011 Lariat I had. I loved those mirrors. Looking even better compared to todays version. Not a fan.

They are on my truck. I don't like that the small corner mirrors are not adjustable. I am really considering buying the tow mirrors to replace them with.

Those were the best mirrors. A simple solution to see your blind spot instead of relying on a little blinking light. Nothing to break or go wrong and if you ever need a new tail light, it's $300 instead of $1500 for one with a sonar sensor.

Coming from Mazda CX-5, the stock F150 mirrors are way better. Visibility is just much better all around. I got used to the BLIS and never had those inset mirrors though. I would not want tow mirrors unless I was towing, they are too wide for the garages I park in.

I must be the anti-guy, I tore that glass off of my 2016's mirrors and put on glass from a BLIS truck simply because I couldn't stand those little mirrors being in the way.

My 2024 came with tow mirrors, and I"m already looking for regular mirrors with cameras because I want to get rid of the tow mirrors because I can NOT get used to looking at the bottom lens, and having no convex mirror on the right side. I have a camper and I still have no need for those mirrors. lol
