side mirror issue
In the last week on my 2021 F150 Powerboost Lariat edition, the passenger mirror has started to adjust itself all the way to the right as soon as I unlock the truck and open the drivers door.
It moves the mirror all the way to the right and then the motor continues to "click" as it continues to try to move it past the maximum. This continues for about 30 seconds and then stops.
I can "over-ride" it by getting in the truck and selecting one of the other seat/mirror pre-sets and it goes to that preset. I can then go back to my "standard" preset associated with the key fob and it adjusts my mirrors back to the standard position with no issue. note: when I get into the truck and the issue is happening, if I hit the preset button 1, that is associated with my key fob, nothing happens... the mirror continues to try to adjust to the right. However, if I select another preset and then go back to preset 1, then it adjusts correctly to my last preset position.
I've also tried re-programming the preset 1/default preset and there has been no change.

My 2018 did this intermittently for the entire 4 years I owned it. Dealer could never “reproduce.” I just got in the habit of mashing a mirror adjustment button as soon as I opened the door to stop it, then reset the mirror using the pre-set. Aggravating.
