Default Scratches in Plastic

My wife has a habit of kicking the plastic section below the glove box when she gets in and out and it's leaving little scratches and smudges that I can't seem to get out. Any product recommendations?

I have used this to repair scratches on plastic before and it worked pretty good.

Trade for a new model. One that appreciates nice things and doesn't kick them.

(I'm kidding ....)

Or make her take her shoes off before getting in?

Teach her to get in without damaging your truck?

Magic erasers work well for smudges on plastic, not so much on scratches.

I had a few scratches on the plastic after inspection when I took delivery of my truck

tgey took it back to detail and when they brought it back they were gone. The Salesman said the used a small torch to heat it up then rubbed them out

i wasn't there to see it but the results were impressive

I have had good luck with the Zaino plastic polish. You DO need to use the right tools if you want to get scratches out of plastic trim, especially the high polish type.

Something like this does the job well. Trick is to heat up the plastic to it melds (very slightly melted) the plastic back together, then polishes it smooth.

I had a loose branch I didnt see scrape the entire side of my Platinum about a foot above the window ledge on the doors, right across the plastic. The paint was easy to clean as it was ceramic coated and practically wiped off, but the plastic had nasty cuts in it. I used a smaller handheld buffer and the Zaino polish and it smoothed out the cuts and was able to polish it back to the point you had to use a bright light and really LOOK to find the marks.
