Looking at the passenger side doors of the Corolla I would not expect it to be totaled but looking at tire tracks I suspect the driver’s side bounced off the tree. Fortunately the tree appears unscratched.

This is the worst part of it right here that no amount of fix and remove. Fixing it privately maybe? But how to you claim insurance on the other person. I have always wondered what I would do in a similar scenario. Sorry Dude!

Oh geez, yeah the other pics make it WAY clearer. Good example on how a narrative can be formed just from selective picture usage. I know that wasn't your intent, but I was scratching my head with your first couple pics like, how did the other guy do that driving too fast. Going around a corner like that makes a lot of sense.

Again, glad you are okay. Hopefully it's resolved quickly!
