Rough idle
I have a 2.7, and I have noticed a little rough idle and a tick when it's idling. I got my truck in January, and it has 1,100 miles right now. I feel like going back to the dealer and test driving another 2.7 to see if it has that little rough idle and tick every X seconds; that way, if the one I test drove doesn't do that, then my truck shouldn't do it as well..... I should count how often it does it.
Rough idle came right back.
After paying attention to it, I do believe it has to do with the idle being low sometimes.
Today I started it, and it idled smoothly at about 800-900 rmp's, then later, it was around 500, and idling rough.
Ford dealer looked in the backend system and saw a TON of micro-codes showing up, so its going in for service next week.

So I had the rough idle today in the parking lot. It felt so rough in the brake pedal that I thought the truck was gonna die. But when I looked at the RPM gauge it didn’t look like it was moving. It was sit in slightly above 500. What could it be if the RPM gauge is not moving when I feel it?
I have the same truck and mine started after about 1900 miles. Rough idle but not all the time. I am noticing now a vibration after I hit 5 gear and all the way to the 10th gear. I set up a appointment at the Ford dealership. I am lost this is my first truck and first Ford. I hope they can figure it out. This morning after driving for about 30 minutes there was a bad rattle coming from the muffler. Not sure what that was either.
I have been searching online to find a resolve to this issue. I traded in my 2019 F-150 and got a 2021 and mine now has about 3,500 miles on it and has a very rough idle. Nothing when the engine is cold but after it is warm and driving around every time I come to a stop light it is shaking and pretty rough. I’ve tried the higher octane fuel, no help. I took it into Ford last week and they told me the engine is firing “solid” and no issues. They said no codes are being thrown so there’s nothing they can do. I’m pretty frustrated as it is very annoying and my 2019 ran very smooth and never had idle issues I could barely tell it was on when idling.
Anyone had any luck taking theirs into the dealer with a resolve yet? I tried to look around the engine when parked and didn’t see anything noticeable moving or shaking except the engine block itself was rocking back and forth very rapidly as I’m sure that is where it is coming from. Motor mounts? Something internally causing it to rock/shake when idling?

My truck idles at 700 when at operating temperature. I have 10,700 miles as of today. I have a rough idle when the truck is warmed up. Don't remember when it started, but did't idle rough when new. I can feel it in the steering wheel and the brake pedal. You can see the visor mirror vibrating too. No dtc's and the fuel trims are good. My 2018 2.7 was smooth. I have had a level of issues with my truck to say I am not 100% happy I bought it and it is my 4th F150. My dealer where I bought my last 3 sold between the 2nd and 3rd truck purchases. The salesman is still there and is great, the service department is terrible. I had to tell the service manager how to do certain diagnostics for my issues and they still couldn't resolve all of them.
