I had this blackvue camera installed by Best Buy. As I recall it is hard-wired in and is not subject to the time limits of the various accessory outlets of the vehicle. That is why the camera has the function to where it can determine when to shut off the camera itself due to a low battery voltage.
I chose the 12.5 V because I did not want the camera wearing down on my battery. It would be different if I drove the vehicle for a few hours every day is this would allow a good charge from the alternator.
A few times I've gone out to my truck after not driving it for days and it says that it is in a deep sleep mode.
I any case, I thought that a battery with a higher capacity would allow the camera system to run longer. Maybe I do need to lower my voltage setting as well. Thank you.

Another option to consider, of your are powering the cam from a USB not hardwire is to insert one of those portable battery packs that have USB ports to receive charge and usb out to power the cam.

I've ran Optima in my builds for years. I can honestly say I've got one bad one for every good one. They even tested bad new.. they always replace them and the replacement lasts 10 years. So idk. Even after that we use them to power our solar electric fences and they keep on working. I have one i bought in 03 still working on a fence. I always used their deep cycle though for stereos and winches. Before agm was a thing.

I would buy a motorcraft for 160 over an optima for 300 any day of the week though. Lol.

Third time: Hard wired to what? You really know it is connected to a circuit the truck does not turn off?

Blackvue has these battery pack options. I didn't want to make it that confusing of a system though. I think I will just live with it shutting off and parking mode as it needs to.

Thank you for your replies though I do not know exactly where to tell you it is wired. I just know that it is wired to one of the circuits which does not shut down after a certain amount of time with the key off.

Ford has a 850 battery that is the same size as the one you have now. I would just suggest you change the setting with Forscan to tell the truck you now have the 850. I would also suggest you reset the BMS as well once you change the battery.
