Replace Sirius with....?
Call them and tell 'em you want to cancel the "trial". They will offer you a killer deal. I ask for the cheapest option- they like to charge more for traffic, news, MLB, etc. I just want the radio station.
Having had and paid for spotify, pandora, amazon prime and apple music, apple music is the only one I currently have. But I'm fully vested in the apple bundle program for the family (news+, music, fitness for the wife, cloud storage, etc). As long as you pay for it, it lets you download and keep any music in their catalog and the "radio" stations are pretty good too.
I've always like sirius because it works no matter where you are- cell coverage not needed and the DJ's on Octane are pretty good.

Sirius has a "music only" subscription. It deletes talk radio and sports and news stuff. That's what I buy, and its about $77 a year. When it's going to expire, they send an email telling you that it will renew at the regular price (18 to 24 a month). If you call them up and tell them you want music only then it will new at the $77 price per year. Just went thru this about two weeks ago.
some of the places we drive to go camping don't have cell phone service. i assume without cell service, pandora won't work. it's why i like xm radio. it always works. i've never tried pandora out of cell tower range. if it works, then i'll dump xm radio.
The problem pandora is their music catalog is 1 million songs vs 20-30 million for the others. You get a lot more repeats in their mixes.

So I just got off chat with them because my old vehicle that I traded in had SiriusXM in it and my truck does not. So I was going to cancel the sub and remove the radio ID. They gave me 12 months of platinum at $9.95/month and I did not even ask for it. So give them a call and see what happens. They'll probably lower it to something more reasonable for you.
