Replace that factory battery
My 2022 F150 Ecoboost is 2 years old, with around 50k miles on it. Over maintained and sits in the shade. Earlier in the year I got a few "low battery" warnings at startup. Have not had another in months. I have a COBB device and track voltage as one of the gauge features I have opened. Charging at 14 volts - seems good to me. Yesterday I get in to run to the store - totally dead. No screen, no lights, nothing. I had just started it to move it in my driveway, no problem. Put a voltage tester on it - 3.8 volts in the dead battery. Yet a hour before it started the truck fine. Spoke with the dealer - they said those batteries won't last over 2 years. WTF? They cant spend a extra $50 for a good AGM battery? I replaced it with a Platinum AGM battery from Auto Zone, 5 year warranty. Cost $275, and 760 CCA vs 720 for the factory one. Well worth it. But I could not believe no warning like slow starting, multiple low battery warnings, nothing. I tow in the desert with this truck, just got back form a trip where if I stopped on the side of the road to take a pee or look at something and this happened I would have been screwed. If your truck is 2 years old -go upgrade your battery.
Yup, Ford batteries stink. My 2023 was giving me warnings that the system was shutting down certain features to preserve the battery and I was having difficulty downloading software updates. Put it on a charger and that helped for a few days. After reading about others that had the same problem I took it to the dealer who determined that the battery was bad. Under warranty so they offered to replace the battery. I asked if I could pay the extra charge and get the larger capacity battery but they said no. So I now have another of the crappy Ford batteries that I expect will last another 2 years at which time I plan to do what you did. Go buy my own battery and get a larger capacity.
I have also heard, don't know if true, that Ford set the software charging profile so as not to charge the battery completely putting less stress on the alternator and improving mpg. Possibly a setting that Forscan could change but I haven't looked into that yet since I'm still under warranty and I'm afraid it would give them an excuse to deny claims.

The difference between a 2 yr warranty battery and a 5 year battery warranty is the 5 year costs more because they will replace it when it goes bad. Paying extra for an extended warranty does not make the product any better.
A 3.5 volt measurement is indicative of a fairly large drain in a short time.
The cause should be looked for before blaming the Battery that had to supply the Drain.
In all truth, the Battery that was good before this happened could be recovered with proper charging equipment and procedure because that discharge does not just ruin an otherwise good Battery. The stores love to sell Batteries on that basis.
.
The recovery is the reversal of the Cell conditions that covers the cell's area and results in no Voltage or Current to offer a load drain.
This requires high charging current to begin the recovery most do not have, then reduce the Charging Current as the Battery voltage begins to recover.
It all hinges on NOT overheating the Battery that is what can do damage, by checking to voltage recovery point.
When the Voltage comes up to about 7v, a smaller charger can be used to finish recovery.
This procedure will take some extended time to accomplish.
If all goes well you won't see any difference between it and a new Battery.
.
I have done this procedure on both AGM and Flooded Lead Acid Bats. One was a lawn tractor Bat setting 2 years in flat condition and started the engine without issue.
Good luck.

if they have a ton of warranty returns at 3 years it will cost them a fortune. Quality control is better on higher warranty at bare minimum, if not components.
