Have a 2021 F150 Powerboost with the 2.4kW hybrid option. Boondocking and would love to remote start the truck and have the generator mode come on so we have 110 to our camper. Unfortunately looking at the app, and the remote start through the keyfob, the truck doesn't fully "turn on" so you don't have access to anything. You can't even push the power switch in the bed to turn on the outlets. Seems like to turn the generator on you HAVE to climb into the cab, turn the truck on regularly then hit the generator switch top of the dash. THEN you gotta go back into the bed and hit the power switch in the bed to turn on that outlet.

Just looking to brew that first cup of coffee in the morning with the push of two buttons.... Is this possible? Am I missing something or is it working as poorly designed?

 

You are not missing something. Ford missed something by not making this possible.

Hopefully there will be a future update that creates a method to do that.

 

For the most part I think that's accurate, but in my PB I can also turn it on via the Sync 4 display.
