Rear Diff Temp?
Now replacing the Transmission pan with something deeper to increase fluid capacity and with better cooling fins. That would have me interested. Wish someone would do tests of the products currently out there.
The drain plug would be handy. I replaced the covers on my Jeep with aftermarket ones made by Dana. The diff fluids get changed a lot more often in the Jeep due to possible water contamination. Still a nice looking cover.

I researched diff covers for my 2007 F250. I ended up with the OEM cover that came out in 2008. It was finned cast aluminum and better than my OEM stamped steel.
I saw several videos where the aftermarket covers would actually hurt lubrication due to the shape. The OEM cover is designed to "splash" fluid up and around to the front side to lubricate the pinion side. Many aftermarket covers did not do this.
Be careful with what you buy.

So to clarify some information here. The whole Banks testing is on a rear diff cover that was flat. The cover that I’m using is clearly not flat and it shape is very close to OEM. Aeration was what banks was talking about and it has to do with a flat back cover. Not applicable.
Having the drain plug is fantastic and they claim a significant reduction in temps. I plan on using an infrared laser to try to get a baseline and some before / after info.
I also have the PPE deep transmission pan and I see an average of 14° drop in transmission temps vs OEM.
