I've had my new Lariat 501A for about 5 weeks now. And I've noticed that I have rain sensing wipers.
I didn't think the 501A had them, because I was looking thru the build and price website and noticed that the rain sensing wipers are only listed as a perk on the 502A.
Does the 501A come standard with rain sensing wipers? If so...that would make the website a little deceiving. And I would be surprised that Ford would not be promoting the fact
that the 501A would have them.

Look in your setting and features on the radio display. Thats where i saw the option for rain sense

 

My 2019 501A does not have rain sensing wipers. Through at least 2019, it was a 502A option.

 

Does that option come as part of the 'technology package'?

 

The brochure shows Rain Sensing as being part of the 502A but it is included in the C0-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 package too.

On my '19, but Platinum. I actually thought it was standard for 501A? Either way I have mine turned off as their wack and useless in South FL rain and random showers, never right speed and then not raining they randomly go off from sensors tripping from pry an Itty bitty droplet. Even our Stang GT had them and they were wack, turned off as well, so much better manually.

 

I did get the 360 assist 2.0 package....I just went back and looked at the packages, and nothing is mentioned about rain sensing wipers in the 360 package or 360 assist package...but the list you posted does have it in there. I remember going over all the options when I was building my truck on the website, and seeing the rain sensing wipers as being on the 502A package.
So I was quite surprised when I realized that I had them on my 501A. I had not noticed it mentioned in that list...although I have looked at it before.
Thanks for the heads up. That explains how I ended up with them. I kind of like the option.

 

I lot of people don't use the old school brochures when buying a new vehicle. I go to this section and highlight everything I want on a vehicle before I decide on a TRIM.
