Default Radio volume

Radio volume fluctuations while using android auto. I have used 2 different phones with same results so I ruled out phone issues. Help me out please.

Have you tried it with the phone disconnected and turned off? Or are you using the android as the music source.

ok, obviously the problem is there’s a little gunk buildup on the rubber drive wheel and the tape is slipping on the capstan. Yo7 can clean it off with a q-tip and denatured alcohol. The super extended play Magnavox tapes were bad about that . I bet it makes the Doobie Brothers sound funny …
