Default Question on Lift/Level

I have a 22 Lariat Crew, 3.5, non powerboost, non max tow or FX4, and am researching lifts'levels (coil over strut vs pucks etc) How did you guys determine what amount to go with ? I see there is 2" , 2.3", 2.5" etc on pucks. With 3.5" of rake as it sits...I assume with even the 2.5 it will be raked an inch? Wondering if you really net what the say and why someone would go with a 2.3 instead of 2.5 for instance? I want to keep a good ride as its a highway truck, no offroad so looking at all options and reading alot
Thanks

I went with 2" pucks and the rake is nominal. I believe 2.5" is the magic number if you want it perfectly leveled. I wanted to keep a bit of rake because I tow.

Yeah, I want slight rake, something not too noticeable, so if I tow the tongue weight wont make it a Carolina Squat truck lol
Thanks for the reply by the way

Every truck is going to be slightly different based on options/pkg's. I have a pretty well loaded 502A, and it looked nose high with coilovers set at 2.25. I cranked them down to about 1-7/8's adn it looks perfectly level, tape measure shows about 1/2" of rake

Looks awesome! Something similar is what I'm after. A little bit of rake and bigger tires on my stock 20 inch wheels.

You may have read a lot, but you haven't read enough. hahaha

You have to determine what you need/want.

Measure the distance from the center of hub to fender at the front and rear.
Do the math to learn how much higher the rear is.
Do you want it level or do you want rake, such as if you want 3/4" of rake, add that into your consideration.
When you finish the math, you will know the amount the front should be raised.

Flip out the credit card and hit "buy now"

With modest lifts how does that affect other components and warranty?

anything not stock or installed by a dealer could be negative. Now most dealers are fairly cool but you never know. It’s Always a risk. Same goes with tunes , etc
