Default Puddle light fell off

Anyone had their puddle light fall out of their mirror ? Got in truck and took off and noticed one dangling by the wire. Looks like the cheap *** plastic clip broke and it fell out. Can't get over how cheap some of this stuff is made. Trying to track down part number now as number on the back of it isn't coming up with anything

Not surprised. Keyless entry keypad has plastic clips now, too. Mine has been replaced twice. Dealer said they reverted back to older style metal clips the second time he replaced it. Took several weeks to get the replacement keypad in the second time so I just used black electrical tape to hold it in place while I waited.

My passenger puddle light did the exact same thing. I couldn’t find the part number either. Ended up ordering one for the previous gen. It fits better but it’s not as bright. It amazes me how much Ford quality has went downhill as of late.

Unfortunately I deleted the email from when I ordered it last year. I’ll have to see if I can find the number again.

MSRP = $102.88
Discount price = $69.77
A little dab of glue to hold the existing light in place = Priceless!
