Problems After 4.2.1 Update
Anyone experiencing any issues after getting latest OTA update? My 22 PB got a few almost back to back OTA updates ending in latest 4.2.1 version last week. Immediately after noticed a chime sounding when I open the door with my key fob any where near. Its the chime sound you typically hear when you put a hard key in the ignition switch with door open. Thought this annoying sound my be by design? Also, my lights have been acting up by staying on for a long time after turning off - way too long. As a matter of fact I think the first few times the low battery mode cut them off rather than normal delay circuit. Last night I had to physically turn off headlight switch to get them to go off. No problems at all before then and I have not modified any modules.

I'm curious... when you turned the light switch off, was it previously set to 'On' or 'Auto'? Unfortunately, I didn't check my setting before switching 'Off'.
Thanks!! That was exactly the problem and now its fixed. I had the light switch on auto before and after update. After turning it to "off" and starting the truck this morning it is now back on "auto" with no chimes and lights going off as they should. I wonder how many others will be affected? Not a big issue once you know the solution.
Good deal. FWIW... I do have the Bambi mod applied. Not sure if that was a factor or not.
I'm just glad to know I wasn't crazy because my wife said, "You probably just hit it with your knee or something and set it to 'On'". -- LOL

I don't get any messages in my truck but I did get that in my FordPass app. Is Ford assuming that I will get the update or does that mean Ford has communicated with my truck and confirmed there was indeed an update?

Regarding update question, another page in my Ford Pass app said the update was successful
My zone lighting in my app is no longer connected. I signed out of the app and signed back in. Noticed all my connected features on the truck were turned off. Turned them back on and still can’t control zone lighting with the app.
Yes, I lost my connected features and am unable to re-activate my FP. App said update was a success but the truck lost ability to phone home to report that and lost the ability to communicate entirely. On another board some users with MY23s are having luck unplugging the TCU over night. This apparently will sync the module with the gateway when it is plugged back in. I'm giving that a try tonight. 80 thousand dollar truck and I'm removing sound deadening materials and unplugging modules to get it to work. Sad.
